Four DIY Spring Crafts To Make At Home

DIY Terrariums with London Terrariums

Last summer we were lucky enough to have a lesson in the art of terrarium making, from London Terrariums. Rather than using the more simple containers – where you just open the door and place your soil and plant in, we were given the challenge of creating terrariums using vase-like containers with a fairly small hole at the top. Using all sorts of equipment from chopsticks to broken plant pots, we learnt how to carefully assemble our very own, beautiful terrariums, which emulate a whole little ecosystem in a jar. DIY Weaving Tutorial: Lucy’s Upcycled Bedsheets

Rather than throwing out your old bedsheets, why not upcycle them? One of our new contributors, Lucy of Peas and Needles, recently shared a wonderfully creative tutorial showing how to recycle bedsheets to make a placemat or wall-hanging. Learn how to make your own here. DIY Spring Crafts

Vicky’s DIY Hanging Plant Tutorial

There’s something therapeutic about flourishing leafy plants (and the odd bunch of fresh flowers) in the home. And if you’re short of space or just want to try something new, then our thoughtful friend Vicky has just the thing. Why not try making your very own versatile, hanging planter out of an old embroidery hoop? This simple but effective idea will brighten up any room! Click here to learn how. DIY Spring Crafts

DIY Upcycled Shirt Tutorial: Make Your Own Tote

In one of our earlier blog posts, Victoria shared an easy how-to tutorial which shows you how to take apart your old shirts and create a beautiful tote bag – perfect for carrying your shopping!
